1. Who We Are

PVF Calculator ("we," "our," "us") operates the website at pvfcalculator.com — a free tool for calculating pipe, valve, and fitting weights and dimensions based on ASME standards. We do not sell products directly; we provide calculation tools and connect procurement engineers with qualified manufacturers on request.

2. Information We Collect

Calculator usage: All calculator inputs (NPS, schedule, flange class, etc.) are processed locally in your browser. We do not store or transmit individual calculation inputs to our servers.

Inquiry forms: When you submit a quote request, we collect your name, email address, company name, country, and the product specifications you provide. This information is transmitted to our inquiry management system (Formspree) and forwarded to our team.

Analytics: We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect anonymised usage data including pages visited, time on site, general geographic region, and browser/device type. GA4 does not identify you personally. You can opt out using the GA opt-out browser add-on.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To respond to quote requests and connect you with manufacturers

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Cookies

We use minimal cookies: Google Analytics sets standard analytics cookies, and we set a single `theme` preference cookie (dark/light mode) which contains no personal data. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Inquiry form submissions are retained for up to 24 months to allow for follow-up on procurement requests. Analytics data is retained per GA4's default 14-month retention period.

8. Children

This site is intended for professional engineering and procurement use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
